So far, the 2nd round is still in progress for the Ladies, 5 of the 8 making it to the 2nd final round are Kayla, Suzie, Jeannine, Candice, & Andrea! 4 of the 8 will advance on to Nationals.

The MEN are complete! 4 Men are advancing: 1) Davis, tied for 2nd place Scott Wollaston and Brian Roth 4) Mike Johnson

Wow, the top 3 men are representing the FWDA! Congrats! But the really BIG deal is that Brian Roth played today for the first time in an ADO Regional and tied 13 to 13 with Scott W. When I left they were having the playoff for the ADO points! Well done Brian!

We are proud of all of our players and Thanks for Maria for working so hard to send so many players to the Regional!!!!

Congratualations! Will post final Results when complete!

Congrats to all of the FWDA members at the regional ADO Shoot!!

I can not wait until I get to Texas to shart shooting again in the FWDA.

I was fortunate enough to shoot in the Syracuse Open in New York Feb 15-17 2008.

The only notable accomplishment I had that weekend was beating the ADO #3 from 2007 Gary Mawson in the top 32 saturday night in the LOD 501 Doubles as well as beating the ADO #7 from 2007 Bill Davis Jr. in the top 4 before taking 2nd over all. (top 32 in LOD cricket doubles, top 64 cricket singles, top 32 doubles cricket lost to Johnny K and Brian Blake).

Keep up the good work. Hey Natalie what team does Scott W. shot on? (he does shoot in masters league doesn't he?) Any ways I am looking forward to meeting the FWDA president (the last one I knew was Mo Elliott and he was a great guy).

Does Liz Landrum still shot darts in the FWDA?

Does Susan Hall still shoot in the FWDA (I noticed a Suzie Hall but I am not sure if it is the same person)?

I apologizw your proabably wondering who I am (and why I am chatting on the web site). I used to be in the FWDA when Trey Martin (Trash) was a teenager (that was when I won the ADO youth championship regionals and then the national's before going to England to compete in the Winmau World Youth Masters.)

I have been shooting in Toronto Canada for years (John Part's stomping grounds and yes I have even beaten John Part in league as well).

Does Thom McDonald, John Williams, Dick McGinnis, Nicky Virachkul or any of the pro darters that used to shoot in the FWDA still compete in League there?

Does the FWDA have a youth league?

My wife and I live in Rochester New York and plan on moving to Texas soon so I will make sure to look you and the other darters that support the FWDA when I arrive.

Thanks and keep on darting,

Bethel Julius Strode III (aka .. Donnie )

Hi! Wow! You sound like fun! I have to laugh, my husband is Bill Lowe, he recognized your name, and he always said Trey started shootiing darts when he was "knee high to a grasshopper". Trey is now about 35...and has a 4 year old son! He still plays for Trash with Doug and Ken.

Suzie Hall is not the same person, but she is a fantastic shot and competes nationally!

Scott's heart isn't into league but this season he is on a team, A masters team out of a new bar down in Crowley!

Mo is married and has a beautiful little girl, that has Daddy wrapped!

Liz Landrum doesnt shoot anymore, I wish I had known her! She and Kenny are no longer married, and neither play!

No youth league, but we are going to start working on that!

The only pros we have are Davis & Scott! Johnny K and Darrin head our way a couple times a year for the North Texas Shootout and to hang out down here in Texas!

We had Fun Dart Weekend last week! We honored 17 members with a 25 year silver lifetime membership award for being a member for over 25 years! Maxine's, Notion, and Tanstaafl are still holding dart matches and have survived. Truly, they are the only original ones left. Sun Down closed down almost 10 years ago, very sad day!

Our new ADO Rep Maria George, nationally ranked and she is from NY and is a ball of fire! She has whipped these players into shape, getting money turned in on time, and getting their matches played every week! It had some bad luck, the players lost faith in the lack of consistency! I have been shocked at what this girl has accomplished! We are all impressed to be represented by such large numbers! 13 women and 10 men actually played! And several of the players enjoyed this experience for the first time!

Thanks for speaking out! Please give us a shout and hang out when you get back to Texas! We have about 46 teams, Ladies league on Mon, Open B on Tues, Open A and Masters on Wed and Mixed I & II on Thursdays! It's a blast! So when was the last time you were here? We are recreating our history...we hardly have anything left...the original ledger books, the Tom Russell city singles plaque, and a few tourney posters! Over the years, moving offices and tornados, too, have damaged what few things we have saved! Our treasurer Erik France has been around 19 years, I have been around about 10, a couple of us that have close to 10 and the rest of the board is made of new and newer players! And boy do they have the dart fever! It's good cause it helps keep it brewing in all of us!

Take Care and stay in touch! Thanks, again for showing your support for the ADO players! We appreciate it! T

Thanks so much! Nat

Well, the girls had a long day, it seems they always do, several ties that had to playoff before moving on to the final round...but the ladies who advance to the finals were Kayla, Suzie, Andrea, Jeannine, & Candice...when it was all said and done...Andrea & Jeannine from Ft. Worth, Christina and Janet from DDA. 3 men and 2 women (5) out of the 8 slots going are FWDA players! Wow! Incredible! Keep up the great work Maria! And thanks to those players who gave a day dedicated to full on throwin darts - non stop for many many hours! This national will be held in Houston, June 20, for the World Masters Team representing the USA in England! You all shot incredible! Thanks for making the Fwda so proud!
