VP Election

I am declaring my personal position regarding the candidates for VP to assure that there are no misconceptions, hurt feelings, or betrayal. I have made my decision on whom I will vote for. I am not asking or persuading any of you by any shape or form, you each need to figure out your own choice and where you stand...I do not want backstabbing and betrayal. This could cause a serious hardship and turmoil in the FWDA because we are all very good friends. I do not want this to happen.

1) I asked Coy to run again as my VP. We have not had any problems or issues to not consider him as a qualified candidate!

2) I respect and admire the qualities of all 3 candidates and what they have to offer the future of the FWDA.

3) I asked Coy to run, prior to my knowledge of who was to be nominated; I will stand behind and support my current VP Coy Bowen!

4) I do not want either Louise or Suzie to feel betrayed by my support of Coy, as this is not a betrayal; I support and value each of their opinions, ideas and qualifications! And look forward to working with them and will support them as VP, should they win the election.

5) I will not betray or backstab Coy, I ask him to run and I stand beside that decision. He has done some very positive things for the FWDA such as By-Laws, no one else would take on this task, no one else bothered to take responsibility of any glitches, and he did the best job possible without help or support from prior administration. He has also been a very positive and influential key person in the formation of the DFW Metroplex Open! -

6) Because of my respect and past history thru elections, I do not want to fool or mislead anyone of the candidates about my support!

7) I think that each candidate is very capable and would be an asset to the FWDA board and its members as each has something very different to add to the FWDA future.

8) I have put this in God's hands to oversee and provide us with the best possible person to fill this position.

I Do Not want any nonsense and drama regarding this election! All elections are immensely personal and meaningful to each individual, as well as the FWDA. That is why I have felt compelled to inform you all of my decisions, since many of you have asked for my opinion. I stand behind it, I expect you all to evaluate each candidate and form your own opinions, and vote with your own choice based on their merits and what you want for the FWDA future, not based on mine!

I have felt the betrayal. It is painful and unnecessary. I do not want to mislead or hurt anyone. I just need to declare my stand on this issue, so there is no misconception, what so ever, about where I stand and why!

I value all 3 of you as my friends, I respect each of you, and I truly hope that no matter the outcome, that all 3 of you will remain a part and stay involved in the FWDA future.

I hope my honesty is understood and is respected.

Good luck to Coy, Louise, and Suzie!

I really hope each of you take Natalie's statement about you all need to look at each candidate and make your decision and do not let her decision persuad you to heart.
