;)Calling all Captains, Pub Owners, & Board Members...
Spring CPB is this WED Jan 2nd 8pm at the VFW Post 5617!
It's election time for Vice President and Associaiton Secretary...if we have more than one nominee, the ballot boxes will go out asap! *Notice the new by law change...Voting for officers in the Spring Season and not Summer! The term doesn't end or begin until FALL CPB!
Before any of you all start to grumble about how early it is...we get it going asap and we are completely done by Mother's Day, missing Easter, and all the rest of the end of school year activities! It's better to have extra time from the begininng instead of trying to squeeze at Christmas!
Playoff Issues need to be settled by our majority! We have always done playoffs on the Weekends because they run sometimes into the wee morning hours...and we do not conflict with the MDA or DDA. It doesn't matter to me which way it goes, but it HAS to be what is in the best interest of the WHOLE Association. It sure seems that if times have changed and players want something different such as league night...then we certainly should evaluate! But clearly...the majority rules and once we discuss it and vote, then we need PEACE! I have certainly tried to get them out asap during my administrations! You have advance notice, and we play playoffs every season, they aren't a surprise!
The Audit is done, and a report will be ready. Unfortunately, we did not have all of the rosters that we needed to do the entire 2 years...but we have some good news and new ideas on how to audit for each season...better accounting & detailed reports from all of the FWDA activities should really help Erik to document our pennies!
And Good news, I found the scheds from fall 05 that I worked so hard to fix, removing that ghastly gap of 4 weeks away in the middle of the season on the 8 team sched, so we should have a more balanced season for all of players & pubs! So, see ya Wed. Let's get right down to the business and get in & out! Thanks!
